Sugar Spheres

Sugar Spheres

Multiparticulate drug delivery systems increase as pharmaceutical companies seek to improve clinical effectiveness. Sugar spheres, as starting substrates, provide a reliable platform for drug loading. Sustained release oral dosage forms are based on coating sugar spheres with layers of binders, active ingredient, and coatings. These granules are then either mixed with other excipients and compressed into tablets or filled into a capsule shell. The size and shape of the sugar spheres are critical physical characteristics that should be carefully measured and controlled.

At Umang Pharmatech Pvt. Ltd., we prepare uniform Sugar spheres, for sustained or extended release dosage forms. They have consistent sphericity, low friability, and high batch-to-batch uniformity, and hence are ideal for drug loading applications. We manufacture Sugar spheres ranging over different particle sizes depending on the customer applications & requirements.

Silica Spheres

Silica Spheres

Silicon dioxide, also known as silica, is a chemical compound that is an oxide of silicon. Silica is most commonly found in nature as quartz, as well as in various living organisms. In many parts of the world, silica is the major constituent of sand. Silica is one of the most complex and most abundant families of materials, existing both as several minerals and being produced synthetically.

Silica spheres have become increasingly important for a variety of applications. They offer the combined benefits of working with a bead platform and the unique properties of a silica substrate, including: flexibility, large specific surface area, improved binding kinetics over planar surfaces, robust statistics, unique refractive index and density, low autofluorescence, low nonspecific binding of many biomolecules, hydrophilicity, and easy manipulation.

Inorganic supports such as silica spheres have become increasingly important for a variety of applications, including isolation of nucleic acids, cell separation, and immuno- and DNA-based assays. They offer the combined benefits of a broad platform and the unique properties of a silica substrate, such as flexible silanization chemistries, low autofluorescence, and low nonspecific binding of proteins.

Applications of Silica spheres:

  • As an oil absorbent
  • For improveing "slip" of cosmetics.

At Umang Pharmatech Pvt. Ltd., we manufacture Silica Spheres ranging over different particle sizes depending on the customer applications & requirements.

Lactose spheres

Lactose spheres

Lactose is a disaccharide sugar found in milk that is derived from galactose and glucose. Lactose makes up around 2–8% of milk. Industrially, it is extracted from sweet or sour whey. The name ‘Lactose’ comes from lac or lactis, the Latin word for milk, and the -ose ending used to name sugars.

Lactose spheres are spherical particles of lactose having uniform diameter. They are uniform, white granules that are practically inert, tasteless and odorless.

The major applications of lactose spheres are as decorations or carriers of actives in Bath soap, Mouthwash, Bath oil, Face scrub, Cleansing cream, Toothpaste, Gel, Body wash, Body scrub, Exfoliating products, etc.

At Umang Pharmatech Pvt. Ltd., we manufacture Lactose spheres ranging over different particle sizes depending on the customer applications & requirements.
